The aim of Pictionary is to guess what the artist is trying to communicate through the pictures that they draw. You advance on the gameboard by guessing correctly, and the first to get to the finish square wins. No great drawing talent is required but instead, players gain an edge if they have a good imagination when guessing.

A complete game is played over 13 cards, where each player of the team in turn has to discover the mystery word through one word clues by each teammate. Telestrations is a party game in which players are prompted to sketch a word listed on a card, then guess what the other players have drawn. Each player begins by sketching a TELESTRATIONS word dictated by the roll of a die. They have 90 seconds to compete their drawing. All players at the same time pass their sketch to the next player, who must guess what's been drawn. Players then simultaneously pass their guess - which hopefully matches the original word- to the next player who must try to draw the word they see -- and so on.
